Prismacolor Premier colored pencils
Today I’ll show you how I blend colors while working with the Prismacolor Premier Soft Core pencils.
A couple of weeks ago I received a copy of a book to review of which I honestly think that it’s the most beautiful book in my bookcase at this moment. Although I’m not quite sure, since I haven’t started working in ‘Daydreams’ and ‘Summer nights’ yet.
They’re very good contenders for the title of ‘most beautiful coloring book’ 🙂 Well, I’m talking about ‘Magical Delights’, or ‘Čarovné Lahodnosti’ as the title is in Czech. It was drawn by jewelry designer Klára Marková.
Work in progress
Since I’ve only colorized one design from that book, I’m not ready to write a review about it for my own website. I usually want a minimum of three designs, colorized by me, for a review, so that’s still a work in progress. But I did colorize the first design, with Prismacolor Premier pencils.
During the coloring of that design, I’ve made a couple of video recordings and edited them into one video. While I colored this particular drawing completely with Prismacolor Premier pencils I used a total of about 29 different colors. To process such an amount of colors I’ve used the blending technique a lot.
Therefore I’ll show you in the video below how I used this technique in the different leaves that are in the design.
